The People

Carrie Bennett-  a gynecologist at Covington Bay Medical Center; and has a two brothers, Morgan and Mack.

Cynthia Bennett-  the matriarch of the Bennett family.  She is married to Madison Bennett.  She has three children; Morgan, Mack and Carrie.

Madison Bennett-  the mayor of Covington Bay for many, many years.  He is married to Cynthia Bennett and has three children, Morgan, Mack and Carrie.

Morgan Bennett-  a cancer specialist.  Was engaged to Hillary Sorensen.  Currently lives in Autumn Lake.  Has a sister, Carrie and two brothers, Mack and Jason.

Mackenzie 'Mack' Bennett- runs the Covington Bay Journal for his father in law Lawton Fairchild. He is married to Roseanna. His siblings are Carrie, Morgan and Jason.

Roseanna Fairchild Bennett- Alexandria Fairchild's daughter. She is married to Mackenzie Bennett, who publishes the Covington Bay Journal.

Jason Bennett- a prominent attorney with his own law firm in Covington Bay; he is representing Glenn Dailey in his divorce case from Gloria. (Formerly known as Jason Prior).  His siblings are Carrie, Morgan and Mack.

Sydney Carlyle- an FBI agent working on the preserver murder investigation.

David Collier- A minister at St. Matthew's Church; he is married to Sabrina Collier and has a son, Jake.

Jake Collier- Sabrina and David's son; a homicide detective for the Covington Bay Police Department. Eric Lassiter is his best friend.  He had recently discovered his attraction to Melody Sorensen, but as Melody is committed, he has started to date Janie Rios.  He is partnered with Angela Sorensen.   Jake is involved in the investigation into Nathan James' poisoning.

Sabrina Collier- Owner of Collier and Associates, a law firm. She is currently defending Nathan James on murder charges. She is married to David Collier and has a son, Jake. Gloria Lassiter-Dailey and Jessica Jackson, her former sorority sisters are her best friends.  She is also representing Gloria in her divorce from Glenn Dailey.

Dana Cooper- A nurse at Covington Bay Medical Center. She is dating Zachary Dailey, but has recently discovered she is still married to Danny James, who is blackmailing her to keep the secret.  However, despite the problems between she and Danny, she is still attracted to her former husband.  She is raising her nephew, Timothy, who is the son of the late Pete and Lizzie Cooper, Dana's brother and sister-in-law respectively.

Timothy Cooper- Dana's nephew. He is in high school.

Pete Cooper- deceased police officer who was murdered in a shooting. His wife, Lizzie, was also killed in the attack. The killers were never found. Pete was Dana's brother and Timothy's father. He was also a police officer for the Covington Bay Police Department and was partnered with Eric.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cooper- Pete Cooper's wife; Timothy Cooper's mother. Elizabeth was killed in a shooting with her husband. The killers were never found.

Candice Dailey-  deceased teenage daughter of Glenn Dailey; Candice was murdered several months ago, allegedly by Nathan James, who is currently on trial for the crime.  However, Nathan claims he and Candice were secretly lovers and that he would never do anything to harm her.  At the time of her death, Candice was engaged to James Greyhawk.

Glenn Dailey- Chief of Staff of Covington Bay Medical Center. Divorced from Leslie Dailey; he is currently married to Gloria Lassiter-Dailey. Has three children, Zachary, Laura and Candice, who was murdered several months ago.  Glenn is a suspect in the murder, and he has a secret revolving around his daughter's death.   As for Gloria, he will do anything to keep her married to him and has currently managed to stall the divorce for several more months.  Glenn is in his early '50s

Gloria Lassiter-Dailey- Chief of Neurosurgery at Covington Bay Medical Center. Widow of Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jonathan Lassiter. Currently struggling to get a divorce from her current husband, Glenn Dailey. Has two children, A.J. and Eric. Attracted to Dr. Zachary Dailey, her estranged husband's son.  However, she is not acknowledging their feelings because of their family relation and that she thinks it would never work between them.   She is unaware that Zachary really does have feelings for her.  Her best friends are Sabrina Collier (her lawyer in her divorce) and Jessica Jackson, who she attended college with.  Gloria is in her late 40's.

Leslie Dailey- Formerly married to Glenn Dailey. She is not living in Covington Bay. She has three children, Zachary, Laura and Candice, who is deceased.

Zachary Dailey- Runs the AIDS clinic at Covington Bay Medical Center. His parents are Glenn and Leslie Dailey, who does not live in Covington Bay for reasons yet unrevealed.  However, this has been a source of friction between Zachary and his father.  Currently dating Dana Cooper, though he is attracted to Gloria Lassiter-Dailey (his father's estranged wife).  He doesn't feel Gloria has the same romantic desire for him and is ignoring how he feels, unaware that she really does care for him.  He has a sister; Laura Dailey-Harrison.  His other sister Candice, was murdered several months ago.  Zachary is in his early 30's.

Whitney DuBois- an attorney for Collier and Associates; currently visiting her family in New Orleans.  Margeret Lassiter is her aunt.

Alexandria Fairchild- an actress. She was married to the late Remington Fairchild. They had two children; Clarissa and Roseanna. She then married Lawton and had Julian and Joey Fairchild.

Amanda Fairchild-  Her father is Franklin Fairchild; she has a sister Vanessa.  She works at the studio for her father.

Clarissa Fairchild- runs a fashion magazine owned by the Fairchild family in New York.

Clayton Fairchild- head of Fairchild Media Enterprises, located in Chicago. He has several children; Franklin, Lawton, the late Remington. He sees Alexandria as a daughter.

Franklin Fairchild- runs Fairchild Studios. His father is Clayton Fairchild.  He has children from his first marriage to Lisa Fairchild; Amanda and Vanessa.

Julian Fairchild- Lawton Fairchild's eldest son. Lives in Chicago. He is a fashion model and formerly dated Gary Sorensen.

Joey Fairchild- Lawton Fairchild's teenager son. Lives in Chicago.

Lawton Fairchild- runs Fairchild Publications, owner of the Covington Bay Journal and Fairchild Studios, which produces and distributed the films of the late Alec Stone. He and his family currently live in Chicago. His father is Clayton Fairchild. He has two sons; Julian and Joey from his marriage to Alexandria Fairchild.

Lisa Fairchild-  Franklin's wife of many years.   They have two children; Amanda and Turner.

Remington Fairchild- deceased. He was married to Alexandria and had two children Clarissa and Roseanna.

Turner Fairchild-  Franklin and Lisa Fairchild's son.   He works at the studio for her father.  His sister is Amanda.

Victor Gianelli- runs the mob in Covington Bay.  Is claiming to have reformed and his working with A.J. to find Slade Jenkins and Joe Reilly, who drug dealers who tried to murder A.J. and Patricia.

Cassandra Greyhawk- Quentin's wife of thirty-five years.  She is a romance novelist.

James Greyhawk- Quentin and Cassandra's son; a student at Covington Bay High School.  James was engaged to the deceased Candice Dailey.   He is currently involved with Nikki Lassiter, despite the fact she already has a boyfriend, Richie Stone.  James is hiding a secret revolving around Candice's murder.   His brothers are Nigel, Lucas, and Joshua.

Joshua Greyhawk- Quentin and Cassandra's son; currently away at military school.

Lucas Greyhawk- Quentin and Cassandra's middle son; a private investigator. He is investigating the Nathan James murder. Currently dating Patricia Tamakai Lassiter.  His brothers are Nigel, James and Joshua.  Lucas is in his late 20's.

Monica Sorensen Greyhawk- Divorced from Eric Lassiter with whom she shares a child, Vicki, she is currently married to Nigel Greyhawk.  Her parents are Roland and the late Molly Sorensen.  Her sisters are Melody, Hillary and Angela.  She has an uncle, Gary.

Nigel Greyhawk- Quentin and Cassandra's oldest son; handles Greyhawk MedTech's legal matters. He's married to Monica Greyhawk and stepfather to Vicki. When Nigel was sixteen, he had a homosexual affair with Kevin Lassiter, one that still affects his life today. Though Nigel says he loves Kevin, he is determined to put his past behind him and focus on his marriage. Right now, Monica and Nigel are planning a child.   Nigel is nearly 30.  Nigel's brothers are Lucas, James and Joshua.

Quentin Greyhawk- Head of Greyhawk MedTech Inc., a medical research corporation. Married to Cassandra Greyhawk, with whom he shares four children: Nigel, Lucas, James and Joshua.  Quentin is embroiled in a plan to destroy the Lassiter family, whom he considers his lifelong enemies.  He is in his early 50's.

Charles Harrison- Simon's father; an executive at Lassiter Pharmaceuticals division in London. He has four children; Simon, Keith, Linda, and Felicia.

Laura Dailey Harrison- a pediatrician at Covington Bay Medical Center. Married to Simon Harrison. She is Glenn and Leslie Dailey's daughter.   She has two siblings; Zachary and Candice, who was murdered several months ago.   She is in her mid 20's.

Linda Harrison- Charles' teenage daughter. She is living with Simon and Laura and attending Covington Bay High School. She used to date Richie Stone.

Keith Harrison- Charles' teenage son. Currently lives in London with his father.

Simon Harrison- Laura's husband. He is disabled and is in a wheelchair. His father is Charles and he has two sisters, Felicia and Linda.  He is a financial advisor for Covington Bay Medical Center.  He is in his early 30's.

Darian Jackson- an doctor for Covington Bay Medical Center.   His mother was the late Annie Jackson; his father has never been mentioned.   He was raised by his grandmother, Mama J.  He was once involved with Daphne Williamson, but for reasons not explained, the relationship came to an end.  Darian is in his early 30's.

Jessica Jackson- A high school English teacher.  Her mother was the late Annie Jackson; her father has never been mentioned.  She was raised by his grandmother, Mama J.  Her siblings are: Patrick and Darian.  Her best friends are Gloria Lassiter-Dailey and Sabrina Collier, with whom she went to college.  She is in her early 40's.

Mama Jackson (Mama J.)- runs Mama J.'s a rib joint. Long widowed by her husband Frank, she had one daughter, Annie, who is also deceased. Raised her grandchildren, Jessica, Patrick, and Darian.  She also has guardianship of Abby Jefferson.  She is in her early 70's.

Patrick Jackson- Works for the Covington Bay District Attorney's office; is currently on the prosecution team of the Nathan James murder trial.   His mother was the late Annie Jackson; his father has never been mentioned.   He was raised by his grandmother, Mama J.  Currently dating Christina Sloan.   Patrick is in his early 30s.

Danny James- An ex-con currently working as a bartender at Mama J.'s, a rib joint. Though it is currently a secret, he is married to Dana Cooper, who he is blackmailing or he'll reveal that they are still wed.  Danny has a brother, Nathan, who is on trial for murdering Candice Dailey.  Danny will do anything to get Nathan out of trouble and is currently plotting to break his brother out of jail.  He is blackmailing Dana for $10,000 to fund the breakout.  Despite the acrimony between he and Dana, they still have a lot of sexual chemistry between them.

Nathan James- Danny's younger brother; a high school student. Nathan is currently on trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Candice Dailey.    Nathan's troubles have grown increasingly worse; someone is trying to kill him unless he agrees to confess to Candice's murder.

Slade Jenkins- an drug dealer who tried to kill A.J..  Currently on the run.

Abby Jefferson- A waitress at Mama J.'s, Abby is Nathan James's ex-girlfriend. Abby's parents were recently killed and she found herself homeless until she was taken in by Mama J..   She is determined to get Nathan back now that Candice Dailey, who Nathan left Abby for, is now dead.

Andrew Johnson- deceased. Was murdered in a brutal beating that his brother Sam survived.

Polly Johnson- owner of a fruit stand in Southtown. Recently lost her son, Andrew, in a brutal beating. Her other son, Samuel, is in a coma following the attack.

Samuel Johnson- teenage boy who recently suffered a brutal beating. Currently lies in a coma following the attack. His brother, Andrew, was killed in the attack.

Derek Kendall-  a former reporter for the Covington Bay Journal, Derek found his life turned upside down when his wife and unborn child were died during the child's delivery.  Derek blamed Glenn Dailey, the doctor, and sued him for malpractice.  However, Derek lost his case and still believing Glenn to be guilty, began stalking and terrorizing him and Gloria Dailey.  His harassment ultimately led to his kidnapping Glenn and Gloria.  Thanks to Gary Sorensen, Derek's psychiatrist, Derek was talked about of murdering them.  He was sent to jail and has been recently released on parole.  Derek has returned to Covington Bay, claiming to want to put his demons behind him and he has begun therapy with Gary again.  However, Derek's true reasons for being back in town are questionable at best.  Derek has a sister, Sarah, who lives in Chicago.

Sarah Kendall-  Derek's sister; lives in Chicago.   She is an attorney.

Adam Jonathan Lassiter I- Founder of Lassiter Pharmaceuticals, Adam is retired from the business and is traveling the world with his wife of fifty years, Margaret. Adam has three sons, Jonathan, who is deceased, Barton and Steven.  His grandchildren are: A.J. and Eric by Jonathan; Brandon and Kevin by Barton; Jonas and Nikki by Steven. His great-grandchildren are: Vicki by Eric and Rachel by Jonas. He is in his mid to late '60's.

Adam Jonathan (Johnny) Lassiter II- Deceased; son of Adam Lassiter I; was married to Gloria Lassiter-Dailey.  Has two children, A.J. and Eric Lassiter.  Was a renowned photojournalist who was killed while a foreign correspondent in Vietnam.

Adam Jonathan (A.J.) Lassiter III- Son of Gloria Lassiter Dailey and the late Jonathan Lassiter; an investigative reporter for the Covington Bay Daily Journal. A.J. is single, but has been involved in a long term relationship with Melody Sorensen. It was recently revealed, however, that A.J. has a wife, Patricia Tamakai-Lassiter (though he and Patricia's marriage was the result of a drunken evening in Las Vegas and therefore was never a 'real' marriage).  However, A.J. has been reluctant to marry Melody, which is putting a strain on their relationship.  A.J. is trying to find out who killed his step-sister, Candice, as A.J. believes Nathan is innocent.  A.J. is about 30 years old.  He has a brother, Eric (whom he is not close to).  His cousins are Jonas, Kevin (whom he is very close to), Brandon and Nikki. He has a niece, Vicki.

Barton Lassiter- Co-President of Lassiter Pharmaceuticals. Widowed after the death of his first wife, Phyllis, he is currently married to Natalie Lassiter. Barton has two sons, Kevin and Brandon, by his first wife.  His parents are Margaret and Adam Lassiter.  His brothers are the late Jonathan Lassiter and Steven.   He has several nieces and nephews:  A.J., Eric, Jonas and Nikki.  Barton is in his late 40's. Barton has graying, dark blond hair and a beard. His eyes are hazel.

Brandon Lassiter- Barton and the late Rose Lassiter's youngest son. Has been in a mental institution for the last ten years, but was released.  The Lassiters don't know that Brandon is free, nor has Brandon returned to Covington Bay since he left the hospital. Brandon has a older brother; Kevin.  Brandon is in his mid twenties.

Eric Lassiter- A.J.'s younger brother (he and A.J. aren't close); a homicide detective with the Covington Bay Police Department. Divorced from Monica Greyhawk, with whom he shares a young daughter, Vicki, Eric is currently involved in a relationship with Melissa Stone.   Until recently Eric hasn't been part of his daughter's life.  But, circumstances has forced him to become a part of her life.   Eric is in his mid 20's.  His best friends is Jake Collier and he works with Angela Sorensen, his ex-wife's sister.  A.J. has a serious drinking problem, which started around the time his partner, Pete Cooper, was murdered.  The killer was never found.

Felicia Harrison Lassiter- Jonas' wife. Her father is Charles Harrison. She has siblings Simon and Linda.

Jonas Lassiter- a U.S. Senator living in Washington DC. He is married to Felicia and has a daughter, Rachel.

Kevin Lassiter- Vice President of Lassiter Pharmaceuticals. Kevin is a gay man who lost his lover, Alec Stone, to AIDS five years ago. He is currently starting to date Gary Sorensen.  Kevin had a teenage love affair with Nigel Greyhawk.   The two men have admitted they still have feelings for one another, but insist it's over.  Kevin has a younger brother Brandon.  Kevin's parents are Barton and the late Phyllis Lassiter. His cousins are Eric (whom he is not close to because of Kevin's being gay), Nikki and A.J. (with whom Kevin is quite close to).  Kevin is nearly 30.

Margaret (Maggie) DuBois Lassiter- Barton's wife of fifty years; she originally hails from the South and is from the wealthy DuBois family.  She has three sons; the late Jonathan Lassiter, Barton and Steven.  She has several grandchildren; A.J. and Eric by Jonathan; Brandon and Kevin by Barton; Jonas and Nikki by Steven.  He has two great-grand children. Vicky by Eric and Rachel by Jonas.   Margaret is in her late 60's.  Whitney DuBois is her niece.

Natalie Taylor Lassiter- Barton Lassiter's wife. She is a nurse at Covington Bay Medical Center. Her best friend is Dana Cooper.  Natalie is planning to enroll in the surgical nurse's program, but Barton wants his wife to have a child, something Natalie is reluctant to do.  Natalie is in her early 30's.  She has a brother, Chet and a sister, Traci.  Natalie grew up in Southtown.

Nikki Lassiter- Steven and Pamela's teenage daughter. Interested in journalism. Currently dating Richie Stone.  Nikki is involved in trying to find out who killed Candice Dailey, which his brought her into contact with James Greyhawk, who was Candice's fiancee' at the time of her murder.  Nikki once believed James was involved in her murder, but now she's not so sure.  As her boyfriend Richie draws further from her (he's got his own secrets to hide), she is growing closer to James.   Nikki older brother is Jonas.  Her cousins are A.J., Eric, Brandon and Kevin.   She has a niece (by Jonas), Rachel.  Her parents are Steven and Pamela Lassiter.  Her grandparents are Adam and Maggie Lassiter.  Her uncles are the late Jonathan Lassiter and Barton Lassiter.  Her best friend is Nina Tamakai.

Pamela Lassiter- Married to Steven Lassiter. Is a curator for the Covington Bay Museum. She has two children; Jonas and Nikki.  She has a grandchild by Jonas (Rachel).  Pamela is in her mid '40s and has dark hair.

Patricia Tamakai Lassiter- Asian-American; a reporter for the Covington Bay Times. Recently returned to town (after 10 years), she is married to her estranged husband, A.J. Lassiter and is dating Lucas Greyhawk.  She is involved in the hunt to find Candice's murderer.  Her father is Harry Tamakai and they have a troubled past.  Her siblings are Michael, Mark and Nina. Her mother has never been mentioned.  She is in her mid 20's.

Rachel Lassiter- Jonas and Felicia Lassiter's infant daughter.

Rose Lassiter-  late wife of Barton Lassiter.  She died several years ago.  She had two sons with Barton; Kevin and Brandon.

Steven Lassiter- Co-President of Lassiter Pharmaceuticals. Married to Pamela Lassiter. Has two children, Jonas, a senator living in Washington DC, and Nikki, their teenage daughter.  His brothers are the late Jonathan and Barton Lassiter.  His parents are Adam and Margaret Lassiter.  He has several nieces and nephews: A.J. and Eric by Jonathan; Kevin and Brandon by Barton.  He is in his late 40's, balding and portly.

Vicki Lassiter- Eric Lassiter and Monica Greyhawk's daughter. She is eight and lives with her mother.

Evan Maitland- District Attorney of Covington Bay. Dating Hillary Sorensen.  He is currently attempting to prosecute Nathan James for murdering Candice Dailey.

Kent Masters-  Kevin Lassiter's secretary.

Jerry Nyland- a guard at the Covington Bay City Courthouse; he is a suspect in the attempted murder of Nathan James.

Joe Reilly- Slade's partner.

Amelia Rios- Ricardo's wife; a homemaker.   She has several children with her husband:  Grant, Jack, Janie and others not currently living in Covington Bay.  Amelia is in her late 40's.

Anita Rios- Grant Rios' wife. She is a homemaker. They have two young children.

Grant Rios-  a scientist specializing in the search for an AIDS vaccine.  His parents are Ricardo and Amelia.  His known siblings are Jack and Janie.  Grant is in his early '30's.

Jack Rios-  a reporter for the Covington Bay Times.   Very conservative and hard edged, Jack clashes with most of the people around him.   Jack is about 30.  His known siblings are Grant and Janie.

Janie Rios-  a nurse at Covington Bay Medical Center; Janie is Grant and Jack's baby sister and they are very protective of her.  But Janie doesn't need their protection, something it's hard for them to admit.  She is dating Jake Collier.  She is in her early 20's.

Miguel Rios- a police officer. Currently living in New York City.

Ricardo Rios- runs Rios Auto Repair, Covington Bay's local auto repair shop.  He has several children; Grant, Jack, Janie and other ones not currently living in Covington Bay.  Ricardo is in his mid '50's.

Rusty-  the bartender at the Black and Blue; a cop's hangout in Covington Bay.

Max Shepherd- hailing from Australia, Max works for Victor.   He is a hit-man.

Christina Sloan- a doctor who works with her father. She is working on being a heart specialist.

Christopher Sloan- a doctor. His specialty is heart surgery. He has three daughters; Christina, Kimberly, Katrina. His wife is Jennifer.

Jennifer Sloan- Christopher's wife. She has three children with Christopher: Christina, Kimberly and Katrina.

Katrina Sloan- Kimberly's twin sister. She is dating Timothy Cooper.

Kimberly Sloan- a high school student.

Angela Sorensen- Homicide Detective for Covington Bay Police Department.  Her parents are Jason and the late Molly Sorensen.  Her sisters are Melody, Monica and Hillary.  Angela is in her late 20's.

Gary Sorensen- Jason's brother; a psychiatrist. He is a gay man and is currently dating Kevin Lassiter.  He has several nieces; Melody, Angela, Hillary and Monica.  He runs his practice with Hillary.  He is in his mid '30s.   Gary was once the psychiatrist of Derek Kendall, a former patient who once tried to murder Glenn and Gloria Dailey.  Derek and returned to town and wants Gary to resume treatment with him.  Gary has reluctantly agreed. Gary has auburn hair and a muscular build.

Hillary Sorensen- A psychiatrist in private practice with her uncle, Gary. She is dating Evan Maitland.  Her parents are Roland and the late Molly Sorensen.  Her sisters are Melody, Angela and Monica.  Hillary is in her early to mid 30's.

Roland Sorensen- Principal of Covington Bay High School. Widower of Molly Sorensen. Roland has a brother, Gary, and four daughters, Melody, Angela, Hillary and Monica.

Melody Sorensen- Head Surgical Nurse at Covington Bay Medical Center.  Her parents are Roland and the late Molly Sorensen.  Her sisters are Monica, Angela and Hillary.  Currently involved in a long term relationship with A.J. Lassiter.  However, their relationship is troubled by the secret marriage of A.J. to Patricia Tamakai.   Melody is forming a friendship with Jake Collier, who is secretly attracted to her.  Melody is about 30.

Molly Sorensen- the late wife of Roland Sorensen. She had four daughters, Melody, Angela, Hillary and Monica. She died of ovarian cancer several years ago.

Alec Stone- deceased brother of Walter Stone. Was a film director. Died of AIDS several years ago. He was Kevin Lassiter's lover.

Melissa Stone- A ER nurse at Covington Bay Medical Center. Currently dating Eric Lassiter, who's child she baby-sat for when he was married.

Richie Stone- A high school student. Richie is dating Nikki Lassiter. His best friend is Nathan James.  Richie is hiding something surrounding Nate's murder.

Serena Stone- Walter Stone's ex-wife. She has two children, Melissa and Richie. She is currently living in London where she has remarried.

Walter Stone- Head of the Covington Bay Homicide Department. Divorced from Serena Stone, he has two children, Richie and Melissa. He also has a brother, the late Alec Stone.

Harry Tamakai- Majordomo for the Lassiter Estate. Has four children, Michael, Patricia, Mark and Nina.  He is in his late 50's.

Mark Tamakai- A high school student.  He and Richie have a secret surrounding Candice's death.  His father is Harry.  His siblings are Michael, Patricia and Nina.

Michael Tamakai- A lawyer for Collier and Associates.   His father is Harry.  His siblings are Mark, Patricia and Nina.  He is currently defending Nathan James on murder charges.  Michael is in his early 30's.

Nina Tamakai- A high school student; Nikki Lassiter is her best friend. Asian-American. Chocolate brown eyes.  Her father is Harry Tamakai.  She has several siblings; Michael, Patricia and Marc.  Nina is a sweet, innocent young girl shielded from life's hardships, mostly because of her father's domineering personality.  Nina is a pianist and hopes to have a career in it one day.

Chet Taylor- Evan Maitland's secretary.  Natalie Taylor Lassiter is his sister.

Traci Taylor-  Natalie and Evan's baby sister.   She is a fledgling screenwriter.

Daphne Williamson- the assistant medical examiner in Covington Bay. She once had a relationship with Darian Jackson, but for reasons not revealed, the relationship came to an end.

Drake Williamson- Editor of the Covington Bay Journal. He has two children: Daphne and Trent.  Drake is struggling to hold onto the paper as it crumbles around him.

Trent Williamson- currently not living in Covington Bay; he is an FBI agent.

Benjamin Zemeckis- Dr. Gary Sorensen's former lover. Benjamin is an FBI agent who lives in Washington D.C.


The Places

Autumn Lake-  a nearby town of Covington Bay's.  Morgan Bennett currently lives there.

The Bay Cluba casual dining restaurant that many of the town's people frequent.

Covington Bay Condominiums- a building of high rent condos.  Melody Sorensen lives in one.

Covington Bay Fashions- an exclusive fashion boutique where the townswomen can be found looking for the latest designs.

Covington Bay Journal-  one of the local papers in Covington Bay, the other being the Covington Bay Times.  Lawton Fairchild is the owner and publisher of the newspaper.   Drake Williamson is the editor-in-chief.  A.J. Lassiter is one of the top reporters at the paper.

Covington Bay Medical Center-  the premiere hospital in town.   Dr. Glenn Dailey is Chief of Staff of the medical facility.  Dr. Gloria Lassiter-Dailey is Chief of Neurosurgery.  Dr. Zachary Dailey is head of the Alec Stone Memorial AIDS Wing.  Dr. Grant Rios works at the hospital as an AIDS researcher.  Dr. Laura Dailey-Harrison is a pediatrician. Simon Harrison is a financial officer for the hospital.  Dr. Darian Jackson is an ER doctor.  Dr. Christopher Sloan and Dr. Christina Sloan work in the field of heart medicine.  Dr. Carrie Bennett is an obstetrician.  Melody Sorensen is a surgical nurse.  Natalie Lassiter, Dana Cooper and Melissa Stone are nurses.  The hospital has an adjacent teaching facility in conjunction with Covington Bay University:  Covington Bay School of Medicine.

Covington Bay University-  the town's college.  It has: Covington Bay School of Law, Covington Bay School of Medicine, Covington Bay School of Journalism and Media.  Many of the town's residents are graduates of this respected, elite private university.

Covington Bay Times- local newspaper owned by Quentin Greyhawk. The Times is tabloid paper with a conservative slant. Jack Rios is a columnist for the paper and Patricia Tamakai-Lassiter is a reporter.

Markham’s-  owned by Victor Markham, the town mobster, this is a fancy, expensive Italian restaurant.

The Lassiter Estate- home of many of the members of the Lassiter family and their staff.  Currently residing in the mansion are:  Steven and Pamela Lassiter, Barton and Natalie Lassiter, Adam and Maggie Lassiter, Nikki Lassiter, Harry, Marc and Nina Tamakai, and Kevin Lassiter.  The mansion has a library, home gym and a cemetery where deceased family members are buried.

Lassiter Pharmaceuticals-  a large drug research and manufacturing organization.  It was founded by Adam Lassiter I.  Former president Adam Lassiter II turned the reins over to his sons, Barton and Steven, who run the company as co-presidents.  Kevin Lassiter works as a Vice President; Kent Masters is Kevin's personal assistant.  Every member of the Lassiter family own stock in the company.

Mama J.s'-  a barbeque rib joint that specializes in jazz music.  It is owned by Mama J.  She has run the place for most of her adult life.  Danny James works there as a bartender, Abby Jefferson is a waitress.

Southtown-  the urban section of Covington Bay.  It's the poorer section of town.  Mama J.'s is located there.


The Things

Qualamethitea experimental drug used in the treatment of new strains of malaria, it is currently being tested by Greyhawk MedTech Inc., which manufactured the drug.  In high doses, the drug can cause heart attacks.  It was given to Nathan James by a mysterious assailant who hoped to kill the young man, but fortunately, the drug was discovered first.
