EPISODE 84 “FAMILY
MATTERS” |
Scene: Greyhawk MedTech Inc. Quentin Greyhawk is in his spacious 25th story office, overlooking the bustling business district of Covington Bay.
Lucas: (walking in) Hi, Dad.
Quentin: Lucas. Did you just come from the house?
Lucas: Yeah.
Quentin: And how are things?
Lucas: Calming down a bit. Monica decided to keep Vicki home from school, which was probably for the best. She was still pretty upset.
Quentin: And Nigel?
Lucas: He said he wouldn’t be coming into the office today.
Quentin: I thought he wasn’t seriously injured.
Lucas: He wasn’t. But he wants to stay home with his step-daughter and see what he can do for her.
Quentin: That’s all well and good, but I just hope he remembers he needs to go down to the police station and press formal charges against Eric. The criminal is going to be very sorry for what he's done. We have to see that not only does that young man loses his badge but goes to jail for attacking Nigel.
Lucas: Dad, let's not forget that Eric is a cop and as much as we might not like to admit it, a pretty good one. I don't think the CBPD is going to let him just be locked up so easily.
Quentin: They better not even try to whitewash this or the whole department is going to be very sorry.
Lucas: I only wish I could've gotten to Eric before his fellow officers showed up. I would've been only too glad to knock that bully around a bit.
Quentin: That would've been nice, but if there's any justice, what's going to happen to Eric will be worse than any beating you could've given him.
Lucas: I guess you're pretty satisfied with how things have gone against the Lassiters.
Quentin: (nodding slightly) Of course.
Lucas: Then why don't you look as pleased as you should?
Scene: Greyhawk
Manor; the hallway outside Vicki's room. Nigel is there pacing the floor,
looking very worried. Monica comes out and closes the door behind her. She
gives her husband an icy stare.
Monica: (angrily) Shouldn't you be at work?
Nigel: I wanted to stay and see how Vicki is.
Monica: (bitterly) Really? I'd think you'd be too busy celebrating your latest victory over the Lassiters to worry about the concerns of an eight year old.
Nigel: Monica, surely you can't believe that I wanted any of this to happen? Or have you forgotten that Eric Lassiter attacked me?
Monica: Isn't a few bruises and a child's tears worth the greater good of getting revenge?
Nigel: You know I have been against this plan from the start! I knew it would only lead to trouble for everyone involved.
Monica: How prophetic of you, Nigel, because you were right.
Nigel: You can't imagine how terrible I feel about what happened.
Monica: You'll be okay, Nigel, your bruises will heal.
Nigel: I'm not talking about me. I mean Vicki. She's all I'm concerned about right now. Is she going to be all right?
Monica: Right now she's sleeping. Thank God I was finally able to calm her down long enough to get her to close her eyes.
Nigel: Good. Rest is probably what she needs right now.
Monica: So she sleeps for a bit, it doesn't change that her life is in turmoil. She still has to deal with the fact that her father was dragged away in handcuffs and that her stepfather is the one responsible for it.
Nigel: Monica, I certainly don't want Vicki to live with that kind of pain, but let's not forget something here. Eric Lassiter burst into this house and attacked me. You don't think he shouldn't go to jail for that?
Monica: I am not excusing for one minute what Eric did. But you know he's a man with a very nasty temper. Violence comes easy to him. When that article came out, what did you think his reaction would be? Did you think he's just write a nasty letter to the editor and forget about it?
Nigel: I don't any of us thought he would react the way he did.
Monica: Really, Nigel? I have to wonder about that!
Scene: Covington Bay Police Department; the Homicide Division. Captain Walter Stone's office. Walter Stone, Evan Maitland and Patrick Jackson are there. Walter, a grim look on his face, hangs up the phone.
Walter: Damn. (He slams his fist on the desk) Damn it!
Evan: I take it that wasn't good news.
Walter: That is an understatement.
Evan: What happened?
Walter: Eric attacked Nigel Greyhawk...nearly strangled him from what Jake says.
Patrick: (shocked) My God! Is he all right?
Walter: Jake says he should be fine except for a few bruises.
Evan: And Eric? Where is he?
Walter: (grimly) Jake had no choice but to arrest him. (Pause) This is a nightmare. This is going to explode when this hits the press. (Pause) I better come up with a statement, and a damn good one.
Evan: Don't you think you should talk to Eric first? Get his side of the story?
Walter: I don't need to do that, Evan. Eric Lassiter is a ticking time bomb. He's never been the most stable person in the world and it's only gotten worse since Pete Cooper was killed. That, combined with his feelings for the Greyhawks, and I'm not surprised he didn't take out the whole family.
Evan: So what are you doing to do?
Walter: What else? I can hardly afford to lose an officer right now…we're as short staffed as it is. But as of now, Eric Lassiter is…. (At that moment, the phone rang and Walter answered it) Walter Stone. (Pause as Walter listened) What? Damn it! Damn it! (Walter slammed the phone down and turned to the window, drawing the blinds back) Oh, no!
Patrick: What is it!?
(Patrick and Evan ran to
the window, looking down below. The sidewalk in front of the police station was
a throng of reporters and journalists)
Evan: You better come up with that statement…and fast.
Scene: A car as it travels the streets of Covington Bay. Det. Angela Sorensen
and Jake Collier are in the front seat. Eric sits in the back seat. The tension
in the car is thick and palpable as all three wore grim faces.
Jake: Look, Eric, I'm sorry about what I had to do.
Eric: Since when is turning against your best friend, not to mention a fellow cop, something you have to do?
Jake: What did you expect me to do? You attacked an innocent man!
Eric: Since when have the Greyhawks been innocent of anything? You read that trash they wrote about me! You don't think I had reason to go off!?
Jake: Eric, I thought that article was as offensive as you. The Greyhawks shouldn't be able to get away with what they did.
Angela: Don't tell me you endorse Eric's problem solving techniques?
Jake: Of course not. There are other ways of handling these types of situations.
Eric: I suppose you think I should stand around and wring my hands and whine about the injustice of it all like A.J. and the rest of my family!?
Angela: It's always been my impression that the Lassiters have dealt with the Greyhawks without resorting to violence. But then I guess you wouldn't know how civilized people behave. The worst thing about this is that even though you've ignored Vicki from nearly the day she was born you still find ways to hurt her. She doesn't deserve to suffer because she has the misfortune of having you for a father.
Jake: Angela, I really don't think is helping.
Angela: It's helping me. (She turned to Eric) I have waited for years to see you finally get what you deserve for every rotten thing you did to my sister and your child and that day has finally come. You can't imagine how glad I am to be here to see it…and I will enjoy every minute of it.
(The car pulled up to the front of the station. Jake, Angela and Eric were stunned at the sight of the throng of reporters on the steps of the police station)
Jake: Oh, my God!
Angela: I'll be damned.
Eric: You don't expect me to go through those vultures, do you?
Angela: (icily) I think it’s called lying in the bed you made.
Scene: Covington
Bay Medical Center; the Alec Stone AIDS Clinic.
Dr. Zachary
Dailey's office. Zachary is there. There
is a knock on the door.
Zachary: Come in.
Dana: (walking in, a wide grin on her face) Good morning.
Zachary: (surprised) What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be working?
Dana: I'm just taking a little break to see one of my favorite guys. (She
walked over to Zachary, kissing him)
Zachary: You're taking a break already? Weren't you late this morning?
Dana: Yeah, but I still get a break. I think it's in my contract or something. (Pause as she embraced him, chuckling) Aren't you glad to see me?
Zachary: (stiffening) Of course I am.
Dana: Really? Your cold response says otherwise. (She let him go) What's wrong, Zachary?
Zachary: You caught me at a bad time, Dana, I've some things on my mind.
Dana: I see. Why don't you tell me about it? Maybe I can help?
Scene: Covington Bay Courthouse; the third floor. Sabrina Collier,
Dr. Gloria
Lassiter-Dailey, Jason
Bennett and Dr. Glenn
Dailey are in a meeting room. Sabrina is holding a sheath of papers looking
stunned as Glenn and Jason wear smug, victorious expressions.
Sabrina: (hesitating) Gloria, I'm sorry, but you're not going to be able to get your divorce today. And maybe not for a very long time.
Gloria: What?! No! You must be kidding!
Sabrina: I wish I were. But according to this, the divorce is put on hold until the end of the Nathan James trial.
Gloria: What does Nathan James have to do with my divorce!?
Jason: Everything, Dr. Dailey. Nathan James is accused of murdering Glenn's daughter. This is a very trying time for him, very distracting.
Gloria: It's been tough for us all. Candice was like a daughter to me…and I hate how Nathan has been put through hell since her death. But why is that causing the delay of my divorce?
Jason: The judge who signed those papers felt that also having to go through a emotionally draining divorce at the same time was too much to ask from a man who so recently lost his daughter. So the divorce has been delayed until the end of the Nathan's murder trial, to give Glenn time to put this all behind him.
Sabrina: Nathan is in the hospital recovering from a massive heart attack and may not go on trial for months. And who know long how this case will be in court? But then that's what you were counting on, wasn't it, Glenn?
Glenn: I just don't want my family to suffer any more than it already has. I've already lost Candice and her killer has yet to be punished. All I'm asking is time to deal with that before I have to face another loss.
Gloria: But you already have lost me! Why can't you accept that!? (She turned to Sabrina) Sabrina, he can't get away with this, can he!? Can't you stop this!?
Sabrina: I wish I could, but the order was signed by Judge Watkins. He's been here as long as this building has…and he's very family oriented. He hates to see the breakup of a marriage and will do whatever he can to keep it together. I'm sure Mr. Bennett and Glenn were aware of that…probably even went to him specifically to get him to sign off on this ridiculous motion. (Pause as she sighed heavily) I'll fight it with the best of my ability. I'll file motions to have to have it overturned immediately, but for now, you have to stay married to Glenn.
Gloria: Damn you, Glenn! You have gone too far this time!
Glenn: Gloria, I'm doing this for you…for us. Whether you admit it or not, a divorce is the last thing you want.
Gloria: Do honestly you think if you say that enough it might become true? There isn't a chance in hell that we will ever reconcile. What you've done today proves marrying you was the biggest mistake in my life!
Glenn: Fighting to save my marriage is wrong?
Gloria: Glenn, you are using your daughter's murder to cling on to me. You're not just a selfish, manipulative monster, you're pathetic.
Glenn: I know you're upset right now, Gloria, but eventually you'll realize I've done the best thing for both of us. You'll see I did this out of love.
Gloria: (rage burning in her blue eyes) You used your child's death to your own advantage because you love me!? How dare you say that!? You bastard! I hate you! (She rushed over and slapped him) I hate you!
Scene: Covington Bay Hospital; the AIDS Clinic. Zachary's
office. Zachary and Dana are there.
Dana: Come on, Zachary, talk to me. Why are you so upset?
Zachary: (shaking his head) It's nothing, Dana. At least nothing you can help with.
Dana: How do you know unless you tell me? Look, I realize you and I are just really getting to know one another but, Zachary, I do care about you.
Zachary: (taken aback) Dana, I...
Dana: And I don't like seeing you so troubled. Surely there's something I can do to make you feel better.
Zachary: Dana, I appreciate the sentiment, but I... (A knock
on the door interrupted them; Dana looked annoyed) Excuse me, I'm
expecting someone. (Zachary went and opened the door. He was
surprised to see Melody Sorensen standing
there. Dana just looked even more bothered)
Melody: Zachary, I... (As she walked in, she saw Dana) Dana, hello. What are you doing here?
Dana: I'm just here visiting Zachary.
Melody: (in a disapproving tone) I see. (She turned to attention to Zachary) Zachary, I've come to deliver a message. Grant Rios had an emergency and he had to leave the hospital. He won't be able to meet with you. He would've called, but I happened to be in his office as he got the message and I said I'd drop by and let you know. He did say he'd call you later.
Zachary: I see. Well, thanks Melody, I... (Just then
the phone rang) Excuse me. (Zachary went to answer the
phone)
Melody: (in a low voice to Dana) Dana, do you really think it's wise for you to be here?
Dana: In case you haven't heard, Zachary and I are dating. There really isn't anything wrong with dropping by his office, is there?
Melody: There is when you have work you could be doing. I happen to know you were late this morning and you've already had a break. Now you're here and Natalie is stuck doing all the work alone...again.
Dana: Natalie knows where I am. If I get swamped, she can page me.
Melody: That isn't the point. Just because things are a little slow doesn't give you cause to take off chasing after Zachary. This is a hospital, not a dating service.
Dana: (angrily) You're not my boss anymore, you're head surgical nurse now.
Melody: That's okay, I don't mind returning to my old stomping grounds, especially since Mrs. Franklin is still too busy learning the job to know how to keep you in line. And judging by your recent behavior, you need a keeper. Now why don't you get back to work, I'll bet Natalie could use a break since she's worked so hard today.
Dana: (glancing at Zachary, who was still on the phone) But, Zachary....
Melody: I'll give him your good-byes. And don't forget you've got plenty of time to chase him after your shift. I just hope you're going to put in an extra hour so or today to make up for being late...and the unauthorized breaks.
Dana: (gnashing her teeth) Fine. (Dana
stormed out just as Zachary hung up the phone)
Zachary: Where was Dana going?
Melody: Back to work.
Zachary: Oh. That's strange. She didn't say goodbye.
Melody: I wouldn't worry. I have no doubt it's not the last you've heard from her. (Pause) Well, I better be going. See you later.
Zachary: Bye. (Melody walked out, leaving Zachary alone. The blond doctor turned from the door and walked to the window, looking out on the city streets below) So if things work out Gloria, you will be free of my father. So what does that mean for you...for us?
Scene: Covington Bay Courthouse; a meeting room. Gloria,
Glenn, Sabrina and Jason are there. Gloria steps away from Glenn, tears
streaming down her face, a stunned expression on her face.
Glenn: Gloria, please calm down!
Gloria: (sarcastically) Are you happy, Glenn? Is this the reaction you wanted from your 'loving' wife? How soon do you think it'll be before we reconcile?
Glenn: Gloria, I knew you'd be upset, but...
Gloria: But what? You did it for my own good? You used your own child's death to your advantage because you thought it was best? You will find a way to justify any despicable act, won't you!?
Glenn: It's not as bad as it looks.
Gloria: No, it's worse because Candice loved you so much. She idolized you. She certainly overlooked your glaring flaws. I wonder what she would think of this?
Glenn: Candice wanted us to stay together. She wanted our marriage to last, you know that.
Gloria: So that's your way of saying she'd approve? (She
shook her head) You're amazing. Just when I think you can't
stoop any lower, you do. But I tell you something, Glenn, this won't
work. You will not get away with this. It doesn't matter if you
delay the divorce for ten days, ten months or ten years! We will never
get back together! Do you understand me!? I may be your wife
on paper, but I will never share a life, a house or a bed with you. The
very thought sickens me. Have I made myself clear!? (Pause)
I've got to get out of here. I can't stand the sight of you. (Gloria
stormed out, slamming the door behind her)
Sabrina: I second that. You may have trapped Gloria into staying into this joke you call a marriage, but not for long. You and your attorney are going to learn that sooner than you think.
Jason: (smirking) I've heard you're quite the warrior in court, Mrs. Collier. I welcome the battle.
Sabrina: And you certainly going to have a fight on your
hands. (Pause) As for you, Glenn, I promise you're going
to pay for this. You'll lose the court battle, but as far as I'm
concerned, that's only the start of how sorry you're going to be.
(Sabrina walked out)
Glenn: I really hate that woman.
Jason: And the feeling seems mutual. I hope you're ready for a very ugly fight.
Glenn: I am. Getting Gloria back is worth any price. And I will get her back...and if I'm lucky I can destroy Sabrina Collier in the process.
Scene: Greyhawk MedTech Inc. Quentin's office. Quentin and Lucas are there.
Lucas: Dad, for a man who is on the verge of living a lifelong dream…destroying the Lassiters…you don't seem too pleased that everything is going so well. Why not?
Quentin: Because of what happened with Nigel and Vicki.
Lucas: That whole scene was pretty intense.
Quentin: My own son was beaten in his own home.
Lucas: But, he'll be alright.
Quentin: We both know his injuries could've been much more serious. And how knows how that little girl will be physiologically affected. I promised Monica that neither she or her daughter would be hurt because of my vendetta against the Lassiters. And now she has. I can't imagine what effect seeing Eric arrested will have on the little girl. Not to mention how she'll react when she learns Eric was responsible for Nigel's injuries.
Lucas: I'm sure Nigel and Monica will keep that from Vicki.
Quentin: Lucas, we live in a small town. Since the Greyhawks and Lassiters are involved, it'll make the press. Vicki will find out somehow. She may not find out from her family, but you know how children are. She's bound to be teased by one of them or she'll overhear gossip. It's only going to make a bad situation worse for her.
Lucas: Dad, I realize you're concerned about Vicki, but you couldn't have foreseen that. No one could've known how Eric would react to that article.
Quentin: I knew that Eric Lassiter was volatile, prone to violence and that he hates our family. I should've known it wouldn't take much for him to lash out in the only way a man like him knows how. I should've taken greater measures to protect our family. (He shook his head) I don't know, Lucas, maybe I was wrong. Maybe I should…
Lucas: Should what? Dad, don't tell me you're going to give up on your plan to ruin the Lassiters?
Quentin: Of course not. I can't do that. I just have to be more careful…plan more carefully. I can't risk anyone in my family getting hurt by this war ever again…especially now.
Lucas: Especially now?
Quentin: Oh yes, because I'm moving forward with my plan. And now, it's going to get ugly.
Scene: The Greyhawk Manor; the living room. Nigel and Monica walk in.
Nigel: Monica, do you realize what you're saying? You are accusing my father of deliberately setting out to hurt a member of his family. You know Quentin Greyhawk would rather cut off his right arm than harm anyone he loves.
Monica: There is no denying that your father is a caring, loyal family man. But when it comes to the Lassiters all he cares about is his revenge. Even if Eric hadn't of attacked you and been arrested, Vicki still would have been hurt by this. You don't think that with all those articles about her father being a bigot and a racist that she wouldn’t have heard…that some kid at school wouldn't have tormented her about that? I'll bet your father thought of that. But, it didn't stop him, did it?
Nigel: (shaking his head) No, it didn't. Monica, you know how I feel about this. I hate this battle…I wish my father would let it go because I know how destructive it is.
Monica: And this is only the start. You know that, don't you? Yesterday it was A.J., today it was Eric and I doubt he's finished with either of them. And let's not forget there are a lot of Lassiters for him to go after. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a plan to hurt Nikki Lassiter and she wasn't even alive when all this began. The pain has just begun for all of us, Nigel, and you can't stand by and express your disapproval and think that's good enough.
Nigel: Then what do you want me to do? Stop my father; try and talk him out of this? I've done that and he's not listening. He's a man with his own mind. I wish there was something I could do, but I can't!
Monica: Maybe you can't, but you can to protect our family. I know you love your father and you should. In many ways, he is a wonderful man, but his actions are hurting our daughter. And what about the child we are planning together? Do you really want he or she to be born in this battlefield?
Nigel: So what are you suggesting? That we move out of this house?
Monica: It's a idea.
Nigel: And I guess you think I should I stop working for my father, maybe completely and cut him out of my life?
Monica: Nigel, you can certainly make it on your own. We could have our own home…you could go into private practice. It's not as if you need to live in this house or work for him.
Nigel: But I grew up in this house. I love it…I couldn't imagine living anyplace else. It's going to be mine someday and I want to give our children. It's the same with the business. My father works so hard and does all he does so we can provided with the best life has to offer. Not only that, I love him. I couldn't have asked for a better role model. He has his flaws, but I could only hope to be half the man he is.
Monica: Nigel, I know you love this house…so do I. And I know how important the business is to you how important your father is to you.
Nigel: Then how can you ask me to turn away from it?
Monica: Because you are married to me…and you promised to take care of me
and Vicki, to make us your first priority029. I'm asking you to follow through
with that promise. I think I have that right…don't you? (Pause) Now I'm
going to check on our daughter. I hope she's stopped crying. (Monica walked
out)
Nigel: What am I going to do? How am I going to get through this? I can't
see Monica or Vicki get hurt. And I can't turn my back on my father either. I… (His
eyes sparked as he thought of an idea) That's it! That's it! I just hope
it's not too late! (Nigel rushed out)
Scene: In front of the Covington Bay Police Department. Jake, Eric and
Angela are inside the car. Reporters and journalists are out front.
Eric: Jake, don't do this! It doesn't have to be this way!
Jake: You did this to yourself, Eric.
Angela: Of course he did, but blaming someone else for his mistakes is Eric's specialty.
Eric: How many times do I have to tell you to shut up!?
Jake: Both you be quiet…and let's get this over with.
(Jake and Angela got out of the car, then Jake opened the back door and
pulled a reluctant Eric out as the reporters rushed then, cameras and
microphones at the ready. Eric was peppered with questions as he, Angela and
Jake rushed up the courthouse steps)
Reporter #1: Why did you try and kill Nigel Greyhawk, Det. Lassiter?
Jake: We have no comment.
Reporter #2: How many black men have you beaten and harassed, Det. Lassiter?
Jake: No comment.
Reporter #3: Are all the police officers in the department as corrupt as you, Det. Lassiter?
Angela: No comment!
Reporter #2: How did you tolerate working with your late partner, Pete Cooper? Was it difficult working so closely with a black man?
Eric: (stopping and turning) You're close to crossing the line, buddy!
Reporter #2: Det. Cooper and his wife were murdered and their killer was never caught. Would you happen to know anything about the circumstances behind their deaths?
Eric: Damn you! (Eric lunged at the reporter, but Jake and Angela were able to hold him back) You son of a bitch! I could kill you for that!
Jake: (as he and Angela pulled him into the police station) Could you be any more self-destructive?!
Eric: You heard what he said… he accused me of killing Pete!
Jake: Yes and thousands of people are going to hear that you said on the
local news tonight. Which do you think people are going to remember?
Scene: Outside the Covington Bay Courthouse. Gloria is racing down the courthouse steps. Sabrina comes after her.
Sabrina: Gloria! Gloria, wait!
Gloria: (stopping and turning to face Sabrina) Sabrina, I really don't want to talk right now.
Sabrina: Gloria, I am so sorry. This is all my fault. I should've seen this coming. Instead I let myself be blindsided by both those bastards!
Gloria: Sabrina, it's not your fault. I don't blame you. After all, could anyone imagine that anyone with any amount of decency could use his own daughter death to get what he wants? Even I couldn't have thought Glenn would do such a thing. What a fool I am. I married that man, I thought I loved him. Now I see how little I knew him.
Sabrina: That's because Glenn only let you see the side of him he wanted to see.
Gloria: But you never liked him. He never fooled you…not for one minute. You always knew that he was not the kind of man I should be with.
Sabrina: Well, you know I love to be right, Gloria, but this is one time I wish I hadn't been. (Pause) I swear I'm going to do everything I can to bring this to an end quickly.
Gloria: I'm sure you will, Sabrina. I know you'll do everything you can for me. But, I can't talk about it right now. I need to be alone.
Sabrina: Do you really think should be alone now?
Gloria: I just need some time to think is all.
Sabrina: Sure. I understand. See you later?
Gloria: Of course. (She kissed Sabrina on the cheek) Bye. (Sabrina
watched as Gloria walked away)
Sabrina: You will get your divorce, Gloria. And you will be sorry for this, Glenn. Those are two promises I intend on keeping.
Scene: Covington Bay Medical Center; a half hour later. The fifth floor
nurses station. Dana is at the desk working as Natalie walks up.
Dana: Where have you been?
Natalie: On my break. Surely it's a concept you're familiar with.
Dana: Haven't you ridden me enough about that?
Natalie: I'll stop when you understand that this is a place of work, not a forum for you to pursue Zachary Dailey or hash out your personal problems with your ex-husband Danny.
Dana: Can I help it if I've got a lot on my plate?
Natalie: Dana, we're all busy and we've all got problems. I'm about to start working on getting into the surgical nurses program and all my husband can do is go on and on about having children that he isn't ready to father. But, you don't hear me complaining, do you?
Dana: (grinning) No, but I just did.
Natalie: (shaking her head) Dana, let's just concentrate on work, shall we?
Dana: I better or that she-wolf Melody Sorensen will sink her fangs in my neck again.
Natalie: What does that mean?
Dana: You won't believe what she did when she stopped by Zachary's office when I was there.
Natalie: Let me guess. She was wondering why you weren't working and encouraged you to get back to the job, right?
Dana: (stopped short) It isn't like that.
Natalie: Really? Somehow, I think it is. You know, Dana… (At that moment,
the elevator doors slid open and Zachary stepped off of them)
Dana: (spotting Zachary) Excuse me, I'll be just a minute.
Natalie: Dana, you can't really be intending on leaving your job after all that has happened today.
Dana: I'll only be a minute! Excuse me. (As Dana stepped off the nurses
platform, Gloria came out of an adjacent corridor, looking very distressed)
Zachary: Gloria?
Gloria: (seeing Zachary) Oh, Zachary! (She ran to him, flinging herself into her arms) Help me, Zachary, I need you! I need you!
In The Next Episode of Covington Bay…
· Things get violent between Zachary, Gloria and Glenn.
